Transload services offered at RCR Hempstead Logistics Park are now underway. Activity at the park is increasing daily since opening on January 31, 2020.
RCR Hempstead Logistics Park opens for business January 31, 2020 receiving service from Union Pacific (www.up.com) main line trains.
The park’s transloading customers will begin using the switching and transloading services provided by R. J. Corman Switching Co. LLC (www.rjcorman.com).
Meanwhile, RCR Rail Co. is currently working with a number of manifest users that need a location in the central southeast Texas area.
We are pleased to announce R. J. Corman Switching Co. LLC (www.rjcorman.com) will provide the switching and transloading services for RCR Hempstead Logistics Park.
R. J. Corman will be responsible for switching and transloading all inbound and outbound freight and will interchange with the Union Pacific mainline inside the park.
“This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the early stages of such a high-potential project,” said Paul Lauritzen, vice president of transportation for R. J. Corman Railroad Group.
RCR Hempstead Logistics Park continues making headway! The transload tracks are installed and ready; we’re awaiting the remaining work on the interchange to be completed. The connection to the Union Pacific mainline will follow shortly thereafter. And very soon we will be open for business!
Thank you for following us and please continue to do so.
