RCR Hempstead Logistics Park is a 137-acre Rail Served Logistics and Industrial Park located in NW Houston, Texas.
RCR Hempstead Logistics Park is uniquely situated in between the Houston/Austin and South Central Texas transportation corridor to provide expedient access to the nation’s highway and rail systems. Direct access to Texas State Hwy 6 and US Highway 290 and Class I rail carrier, Union Pacific, provides unmatched access to central, south and east Texas. The park has over 3,900 feet of frontage on Texas State Hwy 6, with 900 feet of visibility on US Highway 290.
The Project
RCR Hempstead Logistics Park is a multi-modal logistics and transportation center located on 137-acres with 3,547 feet of frontage along the Union Pacific’s rail line. The Hempstead Park will receive cars from Union Pacific’s inbound and outbound mainline service, offering manifest switching, transload, storage and other ancillary rail service to customers. The rail park’s customer base consists of non-hazardous industrial and manufacturing supplies from industries such as steel, food, polymer, resin, and building materials.
The Hempstead Park creates a shared infrastructure point and a development that meets Union Pacific’s operating and design standards assisting in connecting long distance transporting and short volume distribution.
